Happy New Year GMS Clients,

As we welcome 2025, we would like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. We hope your holiday season was filled with happiness and joy.
Throughout 2024, the GMS software development team focused on developing the Revolving Loan Web Application, and their efforts will continue into the new year. Additionally, we have partnered with a software development company to refine and enhance key aspects of the current accounting software. These refinements will be integrated into the broader GMS Accounting Web Application.
Our vision remains steadfast: to provide user-friendly technology solutions that support your agency’s needs and help achieve our goal in offering comprehensive Revolving Loan and Accounting Software Web Applications.
The GMS Team wishes you success and prosperity in 2025.
Best Regards,
Lisa Kraeger
President/CEO

Tax Form Printing in January

Below is the recommended checklist to ensure you are ready and can foster an effective process when sending your information to GMS for printing.
  • Confirm that the accounting software version is at 2.4.102.195, and for RLSS, it is 1.1.1.27. To do so, click Help/About in the software to show the version of the software.
  • Email service@gmsactg.com and let us know you are ready to upload your database and related supporting documents.
  • Duane will send you email instructions and a secure link to upload your current database and necessary supporting documents.
  • When your information is received, we will send a confirmation email of receipt.
You can expect a one-week turnaround time from the day we receive your order. You will be notified via email by UPS with a tracking number when your order is shipped.
GMS does not offer mailing services; therefore, printed forms must be shipped promptly to the designated staff indicated on the transmittal for assembly and mailing. Tax Forms will be shipped via UPS 3-day unless you specify overnight delivery on your transmittal form or via alternate correspondence.
PLEASE NOTE:
The deadline for GMS to receive your database and supporting information is Thursday, January 23, 2025.  Databases and supporting information received after January 23, 2025, cannot be guaranteed to be received before January 31, 2025.
Thank you in advance for your patience at this hectic time.

In today’s digital age, safeguarding your business data is essential, especially with rising ransomware attacks. A solid data retention plan not only helps with compliance and efficiency but also strengthens your cybersecurity defenses.
Quick Steps to Protect Your Data
  1. Create a Retention Policy: Outline how long to keep data and when to securely delete it.
  2. Backup Off-Network: Use external drives or USBs to store additional backups offline, safeguarding against ransomware.
  3. Regularly Test Backups: Verify that your data can be restored when needed.
  4. Train Your Team: Ensure employees understand and follow best data security practices.
By taking these simple steps, you’ll reduce risks, ensure compliance, and be prepared to recover quickly from cyber threats. Start today to secure your future!

Service and Assistance in January

We want to remind you of our service schedule, especially during this hectic time of year. We request your patience as our Software Technical Support Team addresses your queries. With January, the busiest month, consisting of the preparation of tax forms, printing, and eFiling along with new software revisions installations and agencies starting the new fiscal year, we wanted to share a reminder of our schedule below:
  • GMS service hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.
  • Chat room hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm ET.
GMS’ policy is to respond to every service call within two hours of receipt (unless there is a scheduled arrangement). Calls received after 5:00 pm ET will be responded to by 10:00 am the following day.
We address requests on a first-come-first-served basis.
You may place your service call by phone at 800.933.3501, via the  Request a service call website – Grants Management Systems Inc. (GMS, Inc.) (gmsactg.com), or by email to service@gmsactg.com. Or if it is a quick question, you can use the “Web-based service chat.” The link is on our website, or you can click on help in the upper menu of your software. Chatroom hours are 8:00 am ET to 4:30 pm ET, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
When you place a call, we need your name, client number, extension number, and a brief (but specific) description of the problem to route the call most efficiently.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
